07/15/11 20:07:10 Administrator	This Helpers' Prayer Vigil for Life is on the Feast Day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel and Bishop Soto will bless 100 Brown Scapulars during the Holy Mass and enroll those who are called to put on the Brown Scapular of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. The Scapular represents a life of prayer and is a sign of commitment to follow Christ daily. According to the Vatican's Congregation for Divine Workshop, the Brown Scapular is "an external sign of the filial relationship established between the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother and Queen of Mount Carmel, and the faithful who entrust themselves totally to her protection, who have recourse to her maternal intercession, who are mindful of the primacy of the spiritual life and the need for prayer." 07/19/11 17:55:57 Administrator	This is a brief belated postcript to thank Bishop Jaime Soto and the eight concelebrant priests for the Helpers' Prayer Vigil for Life Holy Mass. We had a guest priest from the Diocese of Verona in Italy and a good turnout for both the Mass and Helpers' Rosary Procession. Eventually, we will post a video highlight but that may take some time so please be patient. Thank all of you who were present witnessing our Catholic culture of life.
